Arlene Arlow holds an Honours Certificate in Secretarial Arts from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), Canada's largest technical institution. Arlene Arlow first learned bookkeeping using manual ledgers, and graduated to QuickBooks in 1997 at the insistence of a client. She continues to push QuickBooks to its limits, at times finding solutions to issues well before both her peers and the manufacturer. When issues cannot be resolved, she lobbies Intuit Canada Ltd. through her membership in the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program. Arlene was one of the first members of the Voice of Advisor and the Voice of Trainer committees with Intuit Canada Ltd. Arlene has attended all full-length Discovery conferences offered by Intuit Canada Ltd. including the first Discovery 2004 in Jasper, Alberta; Discovery 2004.2 in Niagara Falls, Ontario; and the Discovery 2005 conference in Vancouver, British Columbia. These conferences are excellent networking opportunities to meet bookkeeping and accounting peers from across Canada. Arlene provides hands-on QuickBooks training at venues across Canada. DISCOVERY CONFERENCE 2008 As per INTUIT CANADA LTD. the Discovery Conference will be replaced by regional events.
